In loving memory ~<\/p>\n
\nPatti left us on January 28th, 2025, peacefully in her sleep, after a year long fight with respiratory complications. Though she is gone her spirit remains with us.<\/p>\n
\nPatti was an amazing woman and loving mother. She traveled the world and saw many great places in her younger years<\/p>\n
\nThrough the years she worked as a commercial fisherman on the West coast, a pilot, a flight attendant, Forestry fire warden and finally as a contract log scaler.<\/p>\n
\nFor over thirty years she indulged in her loved passion of mushroom picking in the Cranberry River area. This will be her final resting spot. As she wanted her ashes spread so that she can watch over her many friends while they look for mushrooms in the years to come.<\/p>\n
\nHer other favourite hobby of prospecting and rock hounding generated many friends in the prospecting community – she will be remembered. She found solace and joy in nature and always had a zest for adventure<\/p>\n
\nPatti is survived by her husband Alan, her two children Lindsay Walker and Jordan Chaliel (spouse Cristina Chaliel), and one grandson Jaxtyn Walker. <\/p>\n
\nShe was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She truly put her children’s needs over her own, doing her absolute best to make sure they had everything they needed. Patti lived her life on her own terms.<\/p>\n
\nPatti will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, generosity, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of many. <\/p>\n
\nPatti has moved on to a more peaceful place but will never be forgotten.<\/p>\n
\nShe is survived by her brothers Doug, Dan, Charlie, her sister Lauralee, her mother Barbra and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
\nA grateful – thank you – to everyone for your kind words and condolences at this difficult time. <\/p>\n
