In loving memory ~<\/p>\n
\nJoan was born in 1949 to Anne and Ed Malkow and raised in Smithers. After working and travelling in Germany for two years, she relocated to Houston, BC where she met and married John in 1975. The Lombardis bought the Price farm east of Houston and resided there until 2019. Their next and last home was on an orchard in Oliver where grapes are grown, and grandchildren nurtured.<\/p>\n
\nIn February 2021, John passed away in a tragic work accident and Joan who was always healthy passed away on September 19th in Oliver within a month of her cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n
\nJoan and John are survived by their two sons Mike (Katie) & Brian; grandchildren – Jordyn, Wyatt, Presley, Teryn, Bradyn & Gavyn; Joan’s brothers Phil (Jeannette), Don (Janice) & Rick (Vida); nieces & nephews, John’s brothers, Dominique (Josie), Mike & their families and many friends.<\/p>\n
\nService to take place on November 10th 1:30pm at Aberthau Mansion, Oak Room in Vancouver.<\/p>\n
