{"id":160923,"date":"2025-11-28T15:35:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T23:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/interior-news.com\/2025\/11\/28\/video-vernon-mayor-kicks-it-up-with-the-beaches-on-stage\/"},"modified":"2025-11-28T15:35:00","modified_gmt":"2025-11-28T23:35:00","slug":"video-vernon-mayor-kicks-it-up-with-the-beaches-on-stage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/interior-news.com\/2025\/11\/28\/video-vernon-mayor-kicks-it-up-with-the-beaches-on-stage\/","title":{"rendered":"VIDEO: Vernon mayor kicks it up with The Beaches on stage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Even the mayor was on stage dancing as The Beaches rocked Vernon Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The all-girl rock band came to town after the city won a SiriusXM Music Town contest.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of free tickets were scooped up for the sell-out show Nov. 27 at Kal Tire Place North.<\/p>\n<p>Sirius greeted guests with glow bracelets, glowing backdrops, and two rock bands performing late into the night.<\/p>\n<p>Their hit Last Girls at the Party drew Vernon Mayor Victor Cumming on stage to dance with the girls.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/blackpress.tv\/embed\/57289\/The_Beaches_rock_Vernon\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Mayor Cumming, I love that man,&rdquo; lead singer Jordan Miller said on stage.<\/p>\n<p>Locally-born daysormay opened for The Beaches, who performed most from their latest No Hard Feelings.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian JUNO Award winning ladies formed in Toronto in 2009 and are ade up of Miller, Kylie Miller, Leandra Earl and Eliza Enman-McDaniel.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The event marked the culmination of a nationwide search that saw over 470 Canadian towns nominated.
