The Smithers Storm U13 rep team returned from Kamloops as champions. At the Tier 4 River City Showdown Oct. 17-19, the Storm came up against a tough Kelowna team in the final, but prevailed 9-7 to win the gold. “From the opening faceoff to the final buzzer, these athletes showed grit, teamwork, and heart.
