Raymond “Big Al” Allan Schrader

May 15, 1946 – September 23, 2025

We need to share some very sad news. The Man, the Myth, the Legend…Al Schrader, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, cracking jokes until the end. Allan is survived by his loving wife Donna, his sons Lawrence and Darren (Margaret), grandchildren Luke, Emily, Jacob, Lili and Megan, and goddaughter Isabella. So many, many people will miss playing crib with him, talking football, his big hugs, and the way he could light up a room.

A viewing will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday, October 11 at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive. Big Al’s Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm on Sunday October 12th.
