Louise Schat

February 12, 1938 – June 21, 2025

Louise Schat passed away peacefully at the Bulkley Lodge on June 21.

Born February 12, 1938 in the Netherlands. She immigrated to Canada in 1951 with her family. Mom and Dad were married In 1958. They moved to Smithers in 1975 and remained here. Louise worked in the service industry for many years, from SuperValu bakery to Midway service to A&W and a few places in between. She loved to bake and was known for her Dutch Mocha cake.
