In Loving Memory ~

Christina Oevermann was born in Wilhelmshaven, West Germany in January 1951, the much loved daughter of Wilhelm “Bill” and Erna Oevermann. She came to Canada with her family in 1952, first to northern Quebec, then Kitimat, and finally Smithers from 1969 to April 21, 2025, when she left us. Her passing is mourned by her brother Ingo (Jean), nephews Sean and Ryan, and her sister Karin Groth, nephew Peter Groth and niece Tania Groth, and numerous great-nephews and nieces. Christina was a talented craft person and provided her family and friends with much joy and an endless array of beautiful gifts. She very much appreciated the good care of her doctor sand the members of the Smithers Cancer care unit. Her generous good humour will be fondly remembered by family and friends. At her request, a private celebration of her passing was held in Kitimat where her ashes were consigned to the Pacific. Happy travels, dear Christina.
