In August, tree fruits are ripening in Canada, and farmers are harvesting peaches. 

The month of August is designated as National Peach Month, and Aug. 22 is National Eat a Peach Day. 

The fruit, grown in Canada and around the world, is eaten fresh, used in desserts, made into wine and cider and can even be pickled. 

To celebrate this year’s peach harvest, here are a few questions about peaches and their place in popular culture. How many can you answer correctly?
