1 arrested in Fort St. John trailer park shooting: RCMP

Fort St. John RCMP arrested the suspect in relation to reports of shots fired in the Peace Country Mobile Home Park on Alaska Drive.

Police received reports of a shooting incident at 12:56 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 28), and a suspect was arrested later in the afternoon following an investigation.

The shooting is believed to be targeted, police said.

No injuries have been reported, and the RCMP believe there is no ongoing risk to public safety.

Police seized an involved vehicle for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
